Cache of the Month - November 2008
Hidden In Plain Sight!! (GC1BB7R) by Hushovd Urban caches present unique challenges to the hider. You can't just stick the container under a bunch of pine needles, there's usually no tree stumps, muggles can easily spot them if not well hidden. You can't just leave them out in the open. Or can you? There are several factors that contribute to a great cache. Maybe it's the location - a scenic wonder, an unique environment, or remoteness. Or maybe it requires a clever puzzle to solve first. Or it could be hidden in a unique way, with clever cammo. In urban areas, it tends to be a clever hide. Hushovd seems to be the master of the clever hide, with unique containers and clever cammo. A lot of thought and effort goes into each nasty little container. And with this cache, he's done another marvelous job. And to prove it, he didn't hide the cache at all. It's right out there in the open. And yet, there are still a fair number of DNFs (both posted and unadmitted). There's not a whole lot one can say to describe this cache without giving it away, so I'm going to give you a sampling of comments posted by those lucky enough to find "Hidden In Plain Sight!!"
