During the season of giving, SJG loves to give back to the community.  SJG hosts an annual holiday-themed event and collects toys to donate to worthy charities.  We plan to do so again for 2009 - at Asian Palace Buffet in Deptford, NJ on Sunday, November 29th.  For more information, please click here.

2005 Toy Donation to Toys for Tykes - Cape May County 
In 2005, we were provided with a unique opportunity of donating toys to local children through a program organized by a law enforcement officer in Middle Twp, Cape May County. At our December Meet and Eat, a 55gal. sack was stuffed full of toys donated by our members.

Through newspaper reports, SJG became aware that hundreds of donated Christmas toys for needy children were stolen. Burgess Butch Hamer and Jeanne Van Note stored donated toys, collected over the last year, in a self store unit at Burleigh Mini Storage in Middle Township. When they went to pick up the toys to start wrapping them, they found almost all of the toys had been stolen.
